Villa
Puccini is an elegant villa from the 18th century set
in a hilly region of olive groves and vineyards, 6
kms north from Lucca. The grounds are peaceful and
private, and although the formal structure of the original
villa has been respected, the interior has been brought
into the 21st century with spacious, comfortable and
lightfilled rooms.Furnishings are of high quality and
the rose-colored rooms exude warmth and welcome. There
are 3000 sq. meters of private garden with mature trees,
a lily pond and a 10 x 5 meter swimming pool. The villa
is a fine example of the grand villas of the period.
On the ground floor are a frescoed reception room,
two large sitting rooms, one with a fireplace, a dining
room, and a wonderful kichen with fireplace, dishwasher
and marble table. There is also a utility room with
washing machine and dryer. Upstairs are six spacious
bedroom suites, five with king sized beds and one with
twins. Each bedroom is uniquely and charmingly decorated,
each is equipped with a ceiling fan, and each has its
own modern, beautifuly-tiled bathroom. Five bathrooms
have showers and one has a bathtub. The villa
is equipped with two television sets with satellite
connection.
